Baby massage is a traditional practice in India. A wonderful way to build a bond with your baby. The body functions and nervous system are regulated with loving touch and caresses.
Sangeeta’s class was really a space where I could reconnect to myself in a really intimate way, because I believe that it’s in stillness that we really learn who we are. When we don’t have mental agitation or distraction. I really want to come back again.

“Yoga with sangeeta tought me that yoga is not about gymnastics. but about being present with myself.”

I practice and teach Yoga in the tradition of Sri Krishnamacharya, Sri Desikachar taught to me by my teacher R.sriram.The tradition is strongly founded in the teachings of Yoga Sutra and specializes in adapting yoga to the unique needs and abilities of each individual.

As an Indian woman my own journey of dismanteling oppressive thinking has been a healing practice. Yoga And Ayurveda have supported me immensely in the process. Decolonizing requires recognising, returning, reclaiming, mourning, dreaming, taking action and being commited. So my classes have no room for racism, ableism, ageism, fat phobia, homo phobia and other oppressive conditions. And i create room to confront these conditions mindfully without shame, blame or hate.

The videos are divided to make it easy to choose based on what you need, how much time you have. Asana (movement) Pranayama (breathing practices) Savasana (rest), Dharana (meditation). There are shorter reflections and tools for everyday life situations. The series are full practices of approximately an hour of a yoga - with asanas, pranayama and dharana and dhyana that we highly recommend to be able to change habits, patterns and practice all aspects of yoga for a healthy life.

To practice yoga you need a stable ground which is not slippery. Use a Blanket or towel or mat if the floor is cold. use a folded blanket for your knees if the floor is hard. Have a pillow to sit on so your hips are higher and your knees can be relaxed in a seated pose. Having a chair or wall for support in forward and backward bends and balancing poses can be supportive. Wear comfortable clothes you can move and breathe freely in.
Das ist, was Yoga für mich bedeutet: Es geht um alle Lebensphasen und auch darum, Teil einer Gemeinschaft zu sein. Mir ist es wichtig, Beziehungen zu Menschen aufzubauen.
